Savings SeekerRx delivers savings on the cash price of most medications at participating pharmacies.You are responsible for the full cost of the medication at the time of purchase at the participating pharmacy.
Q: Is a fee required to use the Savings SeekerRx program?
A: There is no fee to use the Savings SeekerRx program.
Q: How do I use my Savings SeekerRx card to receive savings?
A: Simply present your virtual card from the website to the pharmacy with a valid prescription.
Q: Where can I use my Savings SeekerRx card?
A: Use the Savings SeekerRx Pharmacy Locator tool to find a participating pharmacy near you. If you don’t see your favorite pharmacy, check back often as we are constantly adding new stores!
Q: What will the price of my prescribed medication be at my pharmacy?
A: Once you have located a participating pharmacy, enter the name of the medication you are searching for and the cost at the participating pharmacy will be displayed. Pharmacy pricing varies; often as frequently as daily. Use the Savings SeekerRx Medication Pricing tool to check pricing at the participating pharmacy of your choice.
Q: How does Savings SeekerRx provide me with access to these savings?
A: Savings SeekerRx has contracted pharmacies across the country to provide you with negotiated discount rates on prescription medications. By creating an account, you will have access to the Savings SeekerRx program savings.
Q: Are there any maximums (max benefit, max out-of-pocket, etc.) for this program?
A: No, there are no established annual or lifetime maximums for number of uses or dollars saved. Use the Savings SeekerRx program as often as you like.
Q: Does my Savings SeekerRx card expire? Do I have a limited amount of time from the moment I download the card until I fill the script?
A: The card does not expire and there isn’t a time limit for using the card. The medication pricing and pharmacy network may change over time due to various market factors so periodically check the website for updated information.
Q: What medications are eligible for savings under the Savings SeekerRx program?
A: Brand and generic prescription medications are generally eligible for savings under the program with the exception of those classified as opioids.
Q: Can I use this program if I have Medicare, Medicaid, or other government coverage?
A: Yes, provided the program is not used in conjunction with any federal or state government funded insurance.Any amount paid will not apply to deductibles or out of pocket (OOP) thresholds. If a pharmacist attempts to process your prescription in conjunction with your federal or state government funded benefits, your Savings SeekerRx discount will be denied.Simply ask the pharmacist to process your prescription outside of your other coverage as a cash transaction. You will not see this transaction on any Medicare Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
Q: Can I use this program if I have existing commercial health insurance coverage?
A: Yes, provided the program is not used in conjunction with your commercial insurance.Any amount paid will not apply to deductibles or out of pocket (OOP) thresholds. If a pharmacist attempts to process your prescription in conjunction with other commercial coverage, your Savings SeekerRx discount will be denied.Simply ask the pharmacist to process your prescription outside of your other coverage as a cash transaction. Q: Can you send a card to me?
A: At this time, we do not mail out physical cards to our participants.
Q: How do I access my card?
Your personal card can be obtained from the Savings SeekerRx website Simply present the card image at your pharmacy or save a screenshot of the card to the images library on your device for quick and easy access. If you misplace your card, simply go back to the Savings SeekerRx website to obtain the card.
Q: How much will I save on my prescribed medication compared to what my insurance cost will be?
A: Unfortunately, Savings SeekerRx cannot provide you with information regarding your insurance coverage. You should consult with your specific plan for this information.
Q: Why is the price for my prescription different than the last time I picked it up at my pharmacy?
A: Prices vary on almost all medications. Consumers may see the price increase or decrease depending on market fluctuations.
Q: Will the discounted price be the same from pharmacy to pharmacy?
